Scholars Without Institutions


If we were within an institution, this would be a Master of Fine Arts program. We maintain academic rigor and research while having the flexibility to serve our individual art practices. We engage lecturers with specialized knowledge; we research in depth; we debate alternate positions.


Our mission, as professional artists, is to explore ideas and questions to inform both our unique individual and collective art practices. Our desired outcome is to create a dialogue with community and consider space/place and beauty while recognizing that these hold different meanings for each of us.
